Job Description

Position Summary:


HACCP Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with process of the day to day operations of all of the Food Safety/Quality Programs at facility.


Key Activities:


  • Reviews and sign off completed documentation of both RTE and Raw production.
  • HACCP, SSOP – Pre-op and Operational, Quality Forms – AQL’s, SQF Forms.
  • Completes monthly graphs/spreadsheets of Customer Complaints and Product Disposition.
  • Checks product codes for boning each day to assure labels are correct and have USDA requirements.
  • Updates and maintains Employee Training files.
  • Checks all incoming printed materials – labels; films; boxes; etc. to assure they match the current label approval.
  • Checking incoming dry ingredient labels against customer specs.
  • Monitors extra customer requirements to assure compliance is met.
  • Follow QA monthly audit findings through completed.
  • Scans label approvals and NR’s and responses.
  • Enters bird defects into SAP.


Required Qualification:


  • 5 years of working in quality and QMS programs.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as rules, label regulations and procedure manuals.
  • Solid math and calculations is a must.
  • Good communication, follow up and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and self motivated with critical thinking ability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP data system a plus.
